Got this mower after looking around for a while. Has worked great for our needs. The Honda motor was a big draw card, and it runs great. The other factors were the sturdy construction and easy to clean body. none of those nooks and crannies to have clippings build up in. The wheels have not had even the high grass get caught in them. I was a little worried about it's weight, as it is used by my mother and father also at ages of 68. But has been fine. I think this has to do with the cutting power of the motor. Swing blades was also something that got me over the line in going with the bushranger instead of a straight Honda with the same engine. (if blades hit something they will move and absorb a lot of the blow rather than your shaft) We have used this mower for bringing our 1 acre block under control. When I first went and used the mower on it, it varied from 200mm to large clumps of taller grass at about 400mm, but i'd say overall most of it was around 200-300mm high. The taller stuff it did good on, the engine may work a bit over it but nothing it couldn't handle. The handle was a concern also before purchase as it joins and is bolted on, which I've had problems with other mowers before on. But, this one has ended up being no problem and felt sturdy. The block is fairly even but there are some areas where it is pretty ruff and handled this well. The only thing is that I have lost one side of the handles bolt when I did not tighten it up well enough and is now lost out there somewhere. So I'll need to try and get a replacement for that. One thing is that it is pretty loud, but I mean you're getting it to mow and that relates to the engine power. So I can understand this. But if that is a big concern for you, it may matter. (plus easily fixed with ear muffs) We have 4 blocks that make up the acre and we mow one block of land each time a day to get it all done. It took us about 2 hours give or take for a quarter acre and running it non stop. Though next run may be quicker as wont be such high grass. We have found that it runs that whole 2 hours or so on one tank of fuel too. One other thing is that we have been using it on hot days; 25-30c (might of even been a day a little over). Anyhow, it handled the heat well and didn't falter. So all in all, we are very happy with our purchase. Hope this help anyone looking, as I could not find to much in the reviews for these guys and found a lot of value in other reviews when I was looking. I thought I'd pay it forward.
